The Connect House

This duplex is built as an independent living housing for individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities and/or autism. The goal is to help residents, through employment and life skills development, achieve the ability to afford housing independently. The first two residents, sisters Janique and Brandi, both have careers, and the next step for them is independent living.

The Foundation hopes that this duplex project will inspire more initiatives to address homelessness in Fayetteville. Construction is set to begin in six months, with funding coming from grants and the support of local donors.
